NASA's Curiosity rover took this self portrait (I refuse to call it a selfie) to celebrate one full Martian year of exploration, 687 earth days since it landed on the Red Planet on August 5, 2012. This photo is a mosaic composed of frames taken with its robotic arm, but only those photos of the rover where the arm wasn't visible were used. As much as I hate that term too. You gotta admit, Curiosity is the master at selfies.

Did you see what that other rover is wearing, that's so ratchet. Hold on let me take a #Selfie.

Ok, how is the arm not visible? Did Curiosity do a little post-production? maybe even firm up those sagging tires a little bit?

It is a mosaic of photos taken with the arm, but only the portions of the photo without the arm were used (it's in the description). There's a better explanation at the APOD link.
